One of the best places to take a dog off-leash on the sunshine coast. It has both still water and a gentle shore line so there is plenty of safe fun to be had for pooches and people. At peak hours there are heaps of dogs and my experience has only been with well behaved dogs and respectful owners. Lots of space to run and play, so if you want to break away from the crowd for fetch you can. Just a lot more protected and dog friendly than other beaches around the coast and in Noosa. Also features a grassy area, plenty of parking, toilets and change rooms, a special dog rinsing area, and gazebos. There's also a roped off landing zone on the beach for sky divers and it's added fun to watch them.
